How does one reply to that? I had said no such thing, so there was no reason to defend myself.
"What is your definition of murder?" he continued. I shrugged. "Killing someo-"
"Taking a life, right? Isn't that murder?"
I am pro-choice. It is the mother's choice to keep her baby, have her baby, give her baby up for adoption or not have it at all.
No where in there did I say it is the mother's choice to kill someone, which would have been my definition of murder had he not cut me off.
"Yes. But I'm pro-choice, not 'pro-murder'."
He then went on to argue that when a woman becomes pregnant, another life is made. Abortion takes away that life.
I'm sorry, Mr. ---, but I do not believe that a 2 week old fetus is a life. Sorry to everyone else too. This is my opinion. I believe both sides. You can keep the child, you can take it away. Sure it could go to a nice family, but that is the mother's decision.
